Calling All Musicians!

WCAC is actively seeking musical artists who are interested in participating in a new program spotlighting bands, spoken word artists and other musicians.

As long as the music is original, it doesn’t matter if you perform a cappella, bebop, folk, heavy metal, spoken word or opera; all are encouraged to participate in WCAC’s new program, ‘The Sound Lounge’. But because of copyright laws, we can only spotlight bands, vocalists and artists who perform original pieces. So if you write your own material, ‘The Sound Lounge’ will be a platform for you to share your art with others.

’The Sound Lounge’ will feature a new musical talent each episode where artists come to WCAC’s studio and perform either in front of a live audience or just the crew. The choice is yours. Either way, it will provide a great venue for bands and artists to showcase their talent.

We Have A New Server!

WCAC recently started using a digital database system to better organize our members, classes, and equipment. What does this mean for you? Now it is even faster and easier to check out field equipment with Facile, a convenient bar code scanning system. There’s no longer a need to fill out paperwork, as all of the information is conveniently located in the Facile system. When you tell us what kind of events you are interested in covering, our database will tell us to contact you. When you sign up for classes, we can email you a reminder and information on the class. In all, we are striving to make your TV dreams come true in as efficient a manner as possible. If you would like to send us your current information, we will add it to our system. You can email this information to Nick Dulchinos at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
