Service Description

WCA-TV’s after school program provides high school students with an opportunity to get hands-on experience and training with video production equipment. Students in this workshop will learn how to create a documentary or video essay from concept to completion. They'll develop skills in research, fact-checking, storytelling, interview planning, camera operation, and editing while learning both the technical and interpersonal aspects of documentary production. Students will be encouraged to focus their projects on Watertown, helping them connect with and explore their local community. Completed projects will air on WCA-TV's channels and be available on demand.
