WATERTOWN – Watertown’s annual Greek Festival made its much-anticipated return this past weekend, bringing hundreds of visitors to the grounds of the Taxiarchae Greek Orthodox Church for a three-day celebration of food, music, and tradition.
A hallmark of the city’s summer season, the festival featured a wide variety of authentic Greek cuisine, from grilled meats and savory pastries to sweet desserts. Live music and traditional dance performances entertained guests throughout the weekend, while volunteers and vendors offered insights into Greek culture and heritage.
The event transformed the church campus into a vibrant gathering space, filled with families, longtime residents, and first-time visitors. Alongside the food and entertainment, the festival also included cultural displays, children’s activities, and vendor booths.
This year’s coverage was produced by contributor Michael Ferarri and WCA-TV’s Daniel Carito, who spent the weekend capturing the sights, sounds, and stories that have made the Greek Festival one of Watertown’s most cherished community events.
