Inaugural Watertown Pops Debuts with Patriotic Light Show

Residents gathered at Saltonstall Field for the inaugural Watertown Pops, a new community celebration featuring patriotic music and a synchronized light show in honor of America's 250th birthday.

Hosted by the City of Watertown's Events Team, the evening capped off a full day of festivities that included the Watertown Farmers Market and the City's Summer Concert Series. Attendees also received glow sticks and mini American flags courtesy of the Watertown Rotary Club, while Culture Pop donated 250 beverages for the celebration.

City organizers say they hope the Watertown Pops will become an annual tradition, bringing

the community together each summer for music, family fun, and a patriotic celebration.
