Indigenous Peoples Day in Watertown: Art, Storytelling, and Community at Hosmer

WATERTOWN – Watertown marked Indigenous Peoples Day at Hosmer Elementary School with hands-on art, traditional Wampanoag song and dance, Indigenous authors, and local Native vendors. Organized by the Pigscusset Initiative, the event also previewed a story map tracing 10,000+ years of Indigenous history in the area, with plans to develop it into a walking tour.
