The annual Watertown Grecian Festival returned to the Taxiarchae/Archangels Greek Orthodox Church, welcoming hundreds of visitors for a weekend of Greek culture, cuisine, music, and community.
The three-day festival featured homemade Greek specialties, live entertainment, traditional dancing, a kafenio, church tours, and family-friendly activities. Organizers say the festival has become a longtime Watertown tradition, offering the community an opportunity to experience Greek heritage while supporting the church.
In this feature, WCA-TV speaks with volunteers and community members about what makes the festival special, the importance of passing traditions on to future generations, and why the event continues to be a highlight of the summer.
